Welcome to Criaza

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Criaza's recipe sharing and meal planning platform, operated by Criaza Consulting LLC. By using Criaza, you agree to these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you don't agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our service.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Criaza, you agree to:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Beta Program

Criaza is currently in beta. This means:

• The service may contain bugs or incomplete features
• Features may change or be removed without notice
• Service availability is not guaranteed
• We may reset or modify data during the beta period
• Your feedback helps us improve the product

We appreciate your participation in our beta program and will do our best to provide a stable experience.

User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Not share your account with others
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

User Content & Recipes

Your Content

You retain ownership of recipes and content you create on Criaza. By sharing content, you grant us a license to display, distribute, and promote that content within our platform.

Recipe Adaptation

Criaza allows users to adapt recipes shared by others. When you share a recipe, other users may adapt (copy and modify) your recipe. When adapting, users must provide attribution to the original creator. By sharing recipes on Criaza, you agree to allow others to adapt your recipes with proper attribution.

Public Recipes

Making recipes public is entirely optional but comes with specific terms:

• Public recipes are subject to Criaza approval for quality and appropriateness
• Public recipes may receive comments, ratings, and be adapted by other users
• To maintain community trust and preserve contributions, public recipe deletion requires approval
• If your account is deleted, your public recipes may be transferred to the Criaza Community collection with attribution to you as the original creator

Imported Recipes

When importing recipes from external sources:

• Respect copyright and intellectual property rights
• Only import recipes you have permission to use
• Attribute original sources when sharing
• Don't import recipes from paywalled or restricted sources

Community Guidelines

When sharing recipes and interacting with others:

• Be respectful and constructive
• Don't share harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Don't spam or post misleading information
• Respect others' dietary restrictions and preferences
• Give credit where credit is due

Prohibited Uses

You may not use Criaza to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Distribute malware or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape or collect data without permission
• Use the service for commercial purposes without authorization
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

Intellectual Property

Criaza and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Criaza Consulting LLC and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our service without explicit written permission.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but we cannot guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• That defects will be corrected immediately
• That the service will meet your specific requirements
• That data will never be lost or corrupted

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice.

Limitation of Liability

Criaza is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not responsible for user-generated content or imported recipes
• We are not liable for dietary or health outcomes from using recipes
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

Important: Always use your judgment when preparing food. Verify ingredient safety, especially for allergies and dietary restrictions. Recipes shared on Criaza are provided by users. We do not verify the safety, accuracy, or suitability of recipes.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.

Upon termination, your right to use Criaza ceases immediately. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Public recipes may be retained as described in the User Content section.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Criaza after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of North Carolina.
